A fire at the terminal in the port of Ust-Luga was announced on Sunday by the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko. The technological process at the facility was suspended.
As the company later clarified, the cause of the fire was “external influence.”
As a result of the incident, as noted by the Unified Duty Dispatch Service of the Kingisepp District, a tank with a volume of 100 cubic meters was damaged.
