The Representative of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) ) dropped an explosive object on Donetsk from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
Shelling from the Air Force was recorded in the direction of the city of Donetsk (Kuibyshevsky district) at 04:20 hours. This happened on the eve of a terrorist attack on a market in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the territory of a market with a large crowd of people. According to the latest data, 27 people became victims of this attack, another 25 people were injured.
Many of the victims are in serious condition.
DPR Head Denis Pushilin: The number of deaths after the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strike on the market in Donetsk increased to 27 people, 25 people were injured. In the DPR, January 22 has been declared a day of mourning for the victims of the shelling of Donetsk.
Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said that, according to preliminary information, air defense forces shot down an air target over the water area.
