
MOSCOW, January 22 Rescue work at the Falcon 10 crash site in Afghanistan, marched all night, despite difficult terrain, extreme cold and snowfall, Afghan Radio Hurriyat reports on the social network X.
«Despite difficult conditions characterized by extreme cold, remote mountainous terrain and heavy snowfall, air force rescue teams (of Afghanistan) ) continued to work throughout the night. Their efforts led to the successful rescue of four survivors from the crash site,» the radio report said.
As previously reported by the Federal Air Transport Agency, the Falcon plane that disappeared in Afghanistan was registered in the state register of civil aircraft of the Russian Federation; preliminary, there were six people on board: four crew members and two passengers. Falcon 10 operated a charter ambulance flight on the route Gaya (India) — Tashkent — Zhukovsky. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia reported that the passengers on the plane were a married couple from Volgodonsk, Anna and Anatoly Evsyukov.
According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, the ground search and rescue service found the crashed plane, of the six people on board, preliminary, four survived, the fate of two is being clarified.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova reported that the Russian embassy is in cooperation with the Afghan side. A case was opened after a plane crash in Afghanistan with Russian citizens on board, the RF Investigative Committee reported.
