MOSCOW, January 22 Chairman of United Russia Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting via video link with the Chairman of the Cambodian People's Party, Hun Sen, during which he thanked him for his decision to participate in the forum “For the Freedom of Nations!”, according to his VK page.

I thanked my colleague for his intention to take part in the anti-neo-colonial forum “For the Freedom of Nations!”, which will be held in February at the initiative of United Russia. We will also be glad to see the delegation of the Cambodian People's Party at the BRICS+ inter-party forum in the summer this year in Vladivostok,” the message says.

Medvedev also thanked Hun Sen for his response to an invitation to take part in a round table on the topic “The role of responsible political forces of Russia and ASEAN countries in the formation of a new world order.”
“I hope tomorrow there will also be a useful conversation,” the chairman of United Russia emphasized.
The Russian politician also noted the successes of the People’s party of Cambodia in the 2023 parliamentary elections and congratulated them on holding the party congress in December 2023.
