A large electric four-door of the new brand will go on sale in the summer, with Russia being the first export market.
Last year, the Exeed brand, owned by Chery, announced the creation of a new line for electric trains: in China it was called Sterra, and for other countries they came up with the name Exlantix. This series was also announced for Russia — and precisely as an Exeed product. However, Exlantix was eventually turned into a separate “premium electric car brand.” By the way, today’s release from the Russian office of the newly-minted brand states that our country will become the first export market. Note that Exlantix will be the fifth sub-brand of Chery in the Russian Federation, it will join Omoda, Jetour, Jaecoo and the same Exeed. We also have the Kayie brand, which is also partially owned by Cherie.

Like the Exeed Sterra in China, the Exlantix brand will debut in Russia with the ES sedan (previously the export version was coded E03). The four-door with a coupe-like silhouette is based on the new E0X platform; in its homeland, the car by default has air suspension and a fully controlled chassis. The length of the electric sedan intended for China is 4945 mm, width – 1978 mm, height – 1467 mm, wheelbase – 3000 mm. That is, in size, the model is close to the new global BMW 5 Series sedan and its electric version i5.

The Russian Exlantix ES is promised a glass roof with an auto-dimming function, a retractable spoiler on the trunk lid, seats with a massager, a facial recognition system, adaptive cruise control and a parking assistant. In addition, as in the Celestial Empire, in the Russian Federation there will be pixel information boards for the sedan, although the car in the corporate shots that accompany the Exlantix announcement does not seem to have them (or they are smaller than in their homeland): these boards can be located under head optics and display, for example, the charge level or duplicate turn signals.

It is reported that in Russia the sedan will be offered with a battery with a capacity of 82 kWh. The power reserve will be 650 km, although Exlantix did not specify which cycle this figure was calculated for. They'll talk about the engines later. In China, the Exeed Sterra ES comes with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive: in the first case, the model is available with a 252- or 313-horsepower electric motor, the total output of the dual-motor unit is 480 hp. In the domestic market, the electric car has four battery options – with a capacity of 60.7 kWh, 66.4 kWh, 79.9 kWh or 97.7 kWh. Range (depending on version) – from 550 to 905 km (according to the Chinese CLTC cycle).

In Russia, the start of sales of Exlantix ES is scheduled for the summer of this year. The press service also emphasized that as part of brand development, the company intends to “actively create a charging infrastructure based on dealer enterprises.”
Meanwhile, China has just launched production of the second model of the new Exeed line: The electric crossover Sterra ET entered the production line. Obviously, the SUV will reach Russia as Exlantix ET.
