Vladimir Sorokin’s novel “Heritage,” which completes his trilogy about Doctor Garin, has disappeared from online stores and marketplaces, Dozhd has noticed. This applies to Ozon, Wildberries, Labyrinth, Moscow House of Books and the Book24 website owned by the AST publishing house.

The book is still available in the online stores of the Moscow and Respublika chains. It is also available in the stores “Moscow”, “Biblio-Globus”, “Read-Gorod”, “Young Guard” and “Bukvoed”. Moreover, in some of these networks the novel is hidden in the site search.

A prose writer living in Germany condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine and signed open letters demanding the withdrawal of troops.
