At the same time, there is now a moratorium on inspections, therefore, to avoid negative consequences, the FAS is working with companies to voluntarily eliminate violations, sending them letters and holding meetings, Shaskolsky indicated.
At the end of May last year, the head of the service said that the agency advocates the removal of marketplaces from under the said moratorium.In June, he announced the start of relevant work, in particular in relation to IT companies. The government supported the need for this step.
A moratorium on scheduled business inspections was introduced in 2022 and extended into 2023 and 2024. According to the document, scheduled inspections can only be carried out at facilities of extremely high and high risk categories.
