In our market, the second-generation crossover is available with a 2.0 turbo-four, while the predecessor is equipped with a three-cylinder one and a half liter turbo engine. The fresh SUV is offered in three versions.
The new Geely Atlas SUV intended for Russia was officially announced at the end of last year, and a week ago the characteristics and prices were revealed. Now the five-door has become available for purchase at all dealerships of the brand. Let us remind you that in our country this Atlas is positioned as the second generation, in China the cross is also considered the next generation (there it is called Boyue L). But in the countries of the Middle East, for example, the SUV was announced as a separate completely new model called Starray.
The “second” Geely Atlas is built on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform, developed by the Chinese together with Volvo (the Swedish brand is owned by Geely), while the predecessor is based on Geely’s own NL “trolley”. As before, there is an independent suspension at the rear. The length of the new product is 4670 mm, width – 1900 mm, height – 1705 mm, wheelbase – 2777 mm. For comparison, the dimensions of our previous Geely Atlas Pro (the Pro prefix appeared after restyling): 4544/1831/1713 mm, the distance between the axles is 2670 mm. The ground clearance of the new Atlas is 215 mm versus 171 mm for the first-generation cross.

On the Russian market, the latest SUV is now available with a 2.0 petrol turbo-four that produces 200 hp. and 325 Nm. The engine is combined with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two “wet” clutches, front-wheel drive only. In China and Kazakhstan, the model also has a junior four-cylinder 1.5 turbo engine (174 or 181 hp, depending on the market) — it is possible that the Russian crossover will later get such an engine. The predecessor is equipped with a 1.5 turbo engine with output of 150 or 177 hp; the more powerful version has a 48-volt starter-generator and all-wheel drive.

The new Geely Atlas is offered in three rich trim levels. Already in the basic Luxury version there are LED optics, 19-inch wheels, heated windshield washer nozzles and windshield, light and rain sensors, panoramic roof with sunroof, heated steering wheel, front and rear seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging for smartphones, digital 10.2-inch tidy, multimedia system with a 13.2-inch diagonal screen, keyless entry system and engine start button, electromechanical parking brake (with the function of holding the car in place). In addition, the list of standard equipment includes six airbags, a drive mode select system, adaptive cruise control, all-round cameras, frontal collision avoidance, lane keeping and traffic sign recognition systems.
The Flagship package includes a head-up display, ventilated front seats, an audio system with 11 speakers (including speakers in the driver's headrest), atmospheric interior lighting and electric tailgate. The top version of Flagship Sport has 20-inch wheels, two-tone body paint, an illuminated Geely emblem (front) and additional diode “touches” on the radiator grille.
Geely Atlas Luxury price — 3194,990 rubles, Atlas Flagship – 3 394,990 rubles, the Flagship Sport version will cost 3,494,990 rubles . All prices do not include promotions (you can save money when purchasing a crossover on credit or through a trade-in program). The previous Geely Atlas Pro remains on sale; today it costs 2,763,990 — 3,393,990 rubles (also excluding shares).
