NIZHNY NOVGOROD, January 27 Three children aged 8, 10 and 16 died in a fire in a village in the Nizhny Novgorod region, their parents hospital with burns, reports the regional department of the RF IC on the Telegram channel.
A report of a fire in a private residential building in the village of Nechaevo, Borsky district, was received early on Saturday morning.
«A fire occurred during which three children, 16, 10 and 8 years old, died. When examining the bodies of the victims, the Investigative Committee investigators did not find any visible bodily injuries of a criminal nature. The parents of the children with burns were taken to the hospital, where they received the necessary medical care.» , — the message says.
It is noted that a criminal case has been initiated under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence). According to preliminary data from the department, the cause of the fire could have been a malfunction of electrical or furnace equipment. In order to establish the causes of the fire, a fire-technical examination was appointed.
