One of the reasons for the attack by the organizers of the seminar by VIP coach Inna Tliashinova on Izvestia correspondent Natalia Grafchikova was their fear of a tax audit, the victim reported.

Earlier it was reported that Grafchikova and the Izvestia cameraman were attacked in the Moscow region at a seminar by VIP coach Inna Tliashinova. The corresponding footage was also published on social networks. As noted, the journalist was preparing a story about the Russian blogosphere, and was officially present at the event. After the operator had problems with the camera, the journalist began filming the event on her phone. Subsequently, she and the cameraman were attacked by security. As a result, Grafchikova was taken out of the room onto the street without shoes, and the cameraman’s camera was broken and the flash drive was taken away. The conflict continued on the street, where Tliashinova’s assistants became involved. The journalist and operator were insulted, they tried to take the woman’s phone, and one of the men began to choke her.

Grafchikova noted that if the film crew had been treated humanely, this conflict would not have happened, but the organizers considered that they had the right to beat journalists and take away equipment.

Grafchikova emphasized that the festival organizers did not want any extra time to appear in the media, and were afraid that after the story the tax authorities would become interested in their “business.” The journalist said that Tliashinova’s representatives deleted the recordings from the CCTV cameras, refusing to give any evidence to the investigators.

Later it became known that Grafchikova’s doctors suspected a concussion and a closed craniocerebral injury. After the incident, the journalist reportedly complained of headaches, nausea and dizziness. Doctors found a hematoma in her right frontotemporal region and bruises of the soft tissues of the head, upper and lower extremities.

Currently, the Investigative Committee has begun a pre-investigation investigation into this fact. Natalia Grafchikova is a professional journalist and war correspondent, has government and regional awards.
