Chinese crossovers new to our market will go on sale in the near future. The coupe-like SUV will be offered with a 1.5 turbo engine; a 2.0T engine is announced for the older model.
Last fall, Motorinvest, the new distributor of Dongfeng in the Russian Federation, announced that in 2024 it would significantly expand the model range of the Chinese concern: we were promised at least eight premieres. Now, two of the upcoming models have been announced separately – the DFSK ix5 and DFSK ix7 crossovers are being prepared for their debut. Let us remind you that DFSK is a joint project of Dongfeng and Seres; depending on the country, models can also be presented under the Fengon or Glory brands, or directly Dongfeng. By the way, some Russian dealers have already arranged supplies of ix5 and ix7, but now we are talking about the official entry into the market.

So, the DFSK ix5 is a coupe-shaped SUV, which is slightly larger than our deceased Renault Arkana: length – 4685 mm, width – 1865 mm, height – 1645 mm, wheelbase – 2790 mm. In Russia, a 1.5 petrol turbo engine with a power of 137 hp is announced for the SUV. (220 Nm) in combination with a variator, front-wheel drive only.

Our “coupe” is promised 18-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, four airbags, electrically adjustable front seats, a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch screen, a package of “warm options”, climate control, a keyless entry system, a rear view camera .

The DFSK ix7 crossover in its dimensions is not far from the global Nissan Pathfinder: the length of the “Chinese” is 4930 mm, width – 1935 mm, height – 1765 mm, distance between the axles – 2810 mm. The ground clearance of our version is also reported to be 200mm. In Russia, the model will be offered with a seven-seater interior.

Under the hood of the ix7 is a 2.0 petrol turbo engine with a power of 231 hp. (355 Nm), which is paired with a classic six-speed automatic transmission. DFSK ix7 has all-wheel drive with simulated differential lock.

The list of equipment for the older SUV includes: adaptive LED headlights, panoramic roof, leather upholstery, six airbags, heating and ventilation front seats, a head-up display and a frontal collision avoidance system.
