VLADIVOSTOK, January 30 A court in Ussuriysk sentenced to a fine of 505 thousand rubles a man who fired from an empty machine gun without sharing the road with his opponent, police report Primorye.
A road conflict with shooting occurred in the area of Komarova Street in Ussuriysk: the drivers of a RAM-1500 and a Toyota Corolla Axio did not agree on the order of passage on the road.
“During the investigation, it was established that the driver of the RAM-1500 fired several shots into the air, presumably from a cold weapon. During a search of the suspect’s apartment and car, police officers seized a cold Kalashnikov weapon, 200 pieces of ammunition, and traumatic weapons — revolver,» the regional police said in a statement.
The man did not have a permit to carry a traumatic weapon; it was confiscated. Based on the incident, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Hooliganism committed with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons.»
«During the investigation, the involvement of the person involved in the criminal case was confirmed case for committing a crime against public safety. The court found the defendant guilty and sentenced him to a fine of 505 thousand rubles,» the report says.
The offender was also brought to administrative responsibility for illegal storage, carrying and use of firearms.
