NIZHNY NOVGOROD, January 30 A primary school teacher suspected of setting fire to a school in Cheboksary at the instigation of telephone scammers was detained for two months, the investigative department reports Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Chuvashia.
It was previously reported that a primary school teacher, on instructions from people who called her, recorded a video message in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and on Sunday evening set fire to a school in Cheboksary. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured. The woman was detained and a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act). In addition, earlier a woman stole gold jewelry from a jewelry store, after which a criminal case was opened under Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery).
«Today, at the request of the investigator of the Investigative Committee, the court has chosen a preventive measure against her in the form of detention for a period of two months,» says the message of the regional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee.
