I have known many of you for a very long time, for many years… We have indeed worked quite intensively and fruitfully with each other for many years. Therefore, first of all, a word of gratitude for the joint work and for the readiness to continue this joint work,” Putin said at a meeting with trusted officials.
He also thanked the volunteers who collected signatures and the people who prepared the documents, noting that this required a high level of professionalism.
