MOSCOW, February 2 American billionaire Peter Thiel said that is ready to finance the holding of alternative Olympic Games for athletes who use doping, the New York Post reports.
““Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel… is funding the Enhanced Games, where athletes will be actively encouraged to take doping,” the newspaper writes.
As the publication notes, the idea of holding such games was proposed by lawyer Aron D'Souza. He stated that he had already raised enough funds to hold the first games.
It is assumed that the games will be held annually. They will include five types of competitions: swimming, gymnastics, weightlifting, track and field and martial arts. At the same time, not only professional athletes, current and former, but also amateurs will be able to take part in them.
As the newspaper notes, one of the goals of the games is to promote research into various additives that improve human performance.
