TULA, Feb. 2 Russian President Vladimir Putin joked that he would like to show a “well-known gesture” to all those who predicted Russia’s collapse and failure, but abandoned this idea due to the presence of girls in the hall.
«The entire economy has demonstrated stability, withstood unprecedented external pressure and continues to develop confidently. We were predicted, as you know, to decline, fail, collapse, that under the pressure of sanctions we would retreat, surrender, fall apart. I would like to show a “famous gesture” — I won’t do this: there are a lot of girls here,” the president said at the “Everything for Victory!” forum, addressing employees of defense industry enterprises.
