TULA, February 2 Russian enterprises in the military-industrial complex have a lot of money, they are well-credited, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
On Friday he visited Tula, where he met with participants in the “Everything for Victory” forum. The conversation also turned to discussing with the leaders of the defense industry and weapons holdings the possibility of expanding the social package for employees of defense enterprises.
“It’s fair, it’s possible and necessary to talk. It’s just that as soon as you say: “give me money for something,” you will immediately hear Yaroslavna crying in response that there is no money. Although the accounts payable is very large, that is, they are very well credited, Defense industry enterprises have money in their accounts in large quantities, there is a lot of money,” Putin said in response.
He emphasized that “all defense industry enterprises have a good financial backlog — the customer, but there is also something on the enterprises’ accounts.”
«But there you always need to look at what funds are needed to fulfill the state defense order, which is increasing, and what the enterprise can use to solve social issues. Of course, we need to look for sources,” the president agreed, clarifying that regional authorities could also participate in this.
«And the region can participate, and the enterprise itself, and the federal budget. Everyone should take part in solving such social issues… But the idea itself is correct, we need to think about it further,» Putin added.< br />
