LUGANSK , February 4The head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik declared February 4 a day of mourning for those killed in the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on Lisichansk, according to the Telegram channel of the head of the LPR.
“Dear fellow countrymen! Today, February 4, the Lugansk People’s Republic is declaring a day of mourning for the victims of the barbaric shelling of Lisichansk… I express my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. I wish a speedy recovery to everyone who suffered as a result of the shelling,” Pasechnik said.
Previously, Pasechnik said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a bakery in the LPR last Saturday as a result of shelling. The number of those killed during the shelling of Lisichansk increased to 28, including 1 child. The military commandant's office reported that about 40 people could be under the rubble.
