MOSCOW, February 2 Russian Ministry of Defense is studying in detail the issues of participation in the presidential elections of military personnel, members of their families and civilian personnel of the Russian troops, said the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu.
«Preparations for it have entered the final phase. Issues of participation in the elections of military personnel, members of their families and civilian personnel of the Armed Forces are being worked out in detail. Particular attention is paid to ensuring the voting of personnel in the zone of a special military operation. Today we will discuss how preparations for participation are going military electorate in the election campaign,» Shoigu said at a thematic conference call with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces.
Elections for the head of state will be held in Russia from March 15 to 17. All regions will take part in them, including the front-line zones of the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
