MOSCOW, February 3. The pharmaceutical company Binnopharm Group has confirmed the status of an industrial complex, which allows saving on taxes by allocating additional funds to the development of production, said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.
“In 2017, the city awarded the status of an industrial complex to the production site of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies, Binnopharm Group. Thanks to this measure of support, the average savings of the enterprise over the past three years amounted to about 20 million rubles. The manufacturer can use the saved funds for its own development, modernization of the site and expansion assortment. This year the company confirmed the status of an industrial complex, having achieved the required indicators. In particular, the volume of investment of the enterprise over five years is 200 million rubles. The production provides jobs for more than 300 specialists,» the vice-mayor noted, as quoted by the press — service of the city economic policy complex.
As told in the capital's department of investment and industrial policy, Binnopharm has been developing and producing medicines and vaccines since 2006 in full compliance with the international standard GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). Thanks to the status of an industrial complex, the company invests more funds in R&D and modernization of production. For example, the company plans to improve its biotechnological competencies and expand the production of suppositories and aerosols.
As noted by the director of production activities of the enterprise, Anatoly Yaglenko, Binnopharm’s capacity at the site in Zelenograd is about seven million packages of medicines per year. The company produces original drugs and biosimilars used in cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, gastroenterology and endocrinology.
