In May of this year, the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will lose part of his powers, as he will become acting president, former Deputy Minister Georgy Tuka said.
During an interview with the Pryamiy TV channel, Tuka warned about possible problems after the expiration of Zelensky’s legitimate term as president . According to Ukrainian legislation, the exclusive right to carry out various actions will belong to the President of Ukraine, and not to the person acting as president, Tuka recalled.
As an example of the powers that Zelensky will lose, he cited personnel appointments in the government and security forces departments.
