MOSCOW, 5 Feb. The UK is expected to have the highest inflation among the G7 countries in 2024, according to the February economic report of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). ).
The OECD forecasts UK inflation to be 2.8% in 2024. France is expected to follow (2.7%), with Germany, Canada and Japan (2.6%) sharing third place.
In the US, price growth will be 2.2%, and the lowest inflation among the G7 countries is predicted in Italy (1.8 %).
At the same time, according to OECD forecasts, Britain will not be able to achieve the inflation target of 2% even in 2025. It is expected to be 2.4%.
