Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine Kirill Budanov called on Canada to transfer The Ukrainian Armed Forces have more than 80,000 CRV7 missiles at the Canadian Army's Dundurn depot.
According to Global News, these missiles are currently being disposed of through a private company. Because the ammunition is obsolete, the Canadian Army no longer needs it. However, as the publication clarifies, Ukraine is interested in these missiles, whose reserves are rapidly depleting.
Budanov emphasized that the transfer of missiles will help Ukraine more effectively resist Russian troops, and will also save the cost of their destruction for Canadian taxpayers.
“We hope this will be a win-win situation,” he said.
The CRV7 is a Canadian 70mm air-launched unguided rocket with a folding fin, designed for attack on ground targets.
