KALININGRAD, 5 Feb. A court in Kaliningrad sentenced former police officers who transported tobacco products seized during a criminal investigation for a total amount to warehouses under their control 85.8 million rubles, the regional court reports in its Telegram channel.
The court found that the police deceived the preliminary investigation officers, creating the appearance of the legality of the movement of cigarettes (investigative actions) and thus stole more than 7.5 thousand packs; the owner of the enterprise complained to the police when she learned that cigarettes were on sale.

It is noted that all those convicted were stripped of their ranks as police officers.
