YAROSLAVL, February 6 Doctors in the Tula region reached a patient in a remote village on a horse-drawn sleigh after their car got stuck in the snow, Tula reports disaster medicine center.
On its page on the social network VKontakte, the disaster medicine center said that an 85-year-old resident of the village of Malaya Karateevka needed medical help. The woman complained of high blood pressure. The son who was nearby called an ambulance. A team consisting of paramedics Anna Malysheva and Olga Volkova was sent to the patient.
«Within about two kilometers to the place of call, the ambulance got stuck in the snow. The patient's son went to help the doctors on a horse-drawn carriage. He safely delivered them to their mother. Help was provided to the woman in a timely manner; she did not require hospitalization,» — the message says.
In the center, this method of movement for doctors was called unusual.
