Nadezhdin said what he would do in case of refusal to register for elections

MOSCOW, February 5 Politician Boris Nadezhdin reported in his Telegram channel that if the Central Election Commission denies him registration for the presidential elections in the Russian Federation, he will appeal this decision to the Supreme Court.
«The CEC working group reported 15% of defects in the signatures that I submitted on January 31. We plan to remove the signatures. We only need to remove approximately 4,500 signatures out of 9,209 declared invalid. If the Central Election Commission refuses to register me, I will appeal the decision to the Supreme court,» Nadezhdin said.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17. The Central Election Commission must make a decision on registration or refusal of registration for all candidates no later than February 10.
