MOSCOW, February 5 Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation will consider issues of registration as candidates for the post of President of the Russian Federation Sergei Malinkovich and Boris Nadezhdin on February 7, the press service of the commission reported.
«Issues regarding the registration of candidates for the presidential elections of the Russian Federation will be considered at a meeting of the Central Election Commission of Russia on February 7,» says the Telegram channel of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.

Currently, 8 people are vying for the post of head of state. The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation has registered four presidential candidates — Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.

The Central Election Commission must make a decision on registration or refusal of registration in relation to all candidates no later than February 10.
