ULAN-UDE, February 6 In Buryatia, they will expand the production of UAVs and increase the number and list of products; for this purpose, a research and production center for unmanned aerial systems will be created in the republic , said the head of the region Alexey Tsydenov in his Telegram channel.
According to him, in Buryatia, such enterprises as an aviation plant, an aviation technical school, an instrument-making association, and the Aerokom enterprise, which directly produces drones, are involved in the development and production of unmanned aerial systems. UAVs are already involved in the delivery of medicines and material for medical laboratories within the republic, and combat tests are also being carried out for the needs of the Ministry of Defense.
«We are working to expand production, increase both the quantity and list of products. To do this, we are organizing a Research and Production Center on the subject of unmanned aircraft systems, which will become the leading one in Russia. Commercial and military drones are a new world market, on which in our 21st century the demand will only grow,” wrote Tsydenov.
