VLADIVOSTOK, February 5Vladivostok authorities, in response to a call to cancel Kristina Orbakaite’s concert, said that the viewer himself makes the choice whether to go to a performance in private institutions or not.
Orbakaite’s performance in Vladivostok is scheduled for March 19. One of the subscribers in the comments to Mayor Konstantin Shestakov’s Telegram post called for the cancellation of this concert. Another called the singer a “traitor.” This comment was later deleted. The Vladivostok municipal control center wrote in response that the city administration only approves public events.
“Singer Kristina Orbakaite is not officially a foreign agent, her creative repertoire complies with the law… Tickets are sold for events held in private institutions and organizations. The viewer independently makes the choice to go to the concert or not, using his constitutional right,” reports the municipal control center ( MCU). The institution notes that the issue of compliance with the constitutional principles of the Russian Federation does not go unnoticed. Concert organizers bear full responsibility for the age limit and integrity of the artists. The police should control this. The ICU advised the commentator, if any doubts arise regarding Orbakaite’s speech, to submit an official statement to the internal affairs authorities.

Earlier, after an appeal from social activists, the performer’s concert in Ulan-Ude was cancelled. Orbakaite was supposed to perform there on March 13 with the concert program “Encore!” In addition, the singer’s concerts, which were supposed to take place in March in Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Bratsk, have been cancelled.
