The Sovetsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk received a protocol on “LGBT propaganda” (Part 1 of Article 6.21 of the Administrative Code) in relation to the Elton queer bar. Mediazona found this information in the court database.
The hearing of the case is scheduled for February 9. What exactly was the reason for the protocol is still unknown.
December 30, 2023, Krasnoyarsk Mash reported that security forces came to the bar and took all the men — more than 20 people — to the police. After this, a message appeared on the bar’s Telegram channel that “inspection raids before the New Year are a standard situation in Krasnoyarsk, and this happened not only in our bar!” Employees of the establishment claimed that the police were questioning the detainees about a missing man who allegedly visited Elton. Then everyone was released.
“Guys, remember once and for all, we are not an LGBT bar, we are a cult place to relax with our own show program with the participation of actors of the original genre! If you don’t like borscht, why do you eat it?” — added to Elton.
Now all posts in the bar’s Telegram channel about the police raid have been deleted.
