Merkouris noted that during such operations, Ukrainian forces have to expend valuable air defense missiles, including missiles for the American Patriot air defense systems, of which there are few left anyway.
The analyst indicated that due to the termination Washington's military assistance to Kiev Patriot systems in Ukraine may be left without ammunition, which will only worsen the situation for Ukrainians.
