SIRIUS, February 7 The 2014 Sochi Olympics formed an intangible heritage in the form of professional people and made the resort a diamond in the crown of Russian sports, said Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin.
Wednesday marked 10 years since the opening of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
“»In Sochi, I think, in addition to the material heritage, in addition to the large number of dozens of reconstructed objects, in addition to transport logistics, they have formed a very powerful intangible heritage — these are people, these are professionals, teams who, after Sochi, worked almost everywhere — and not only in Russia — and helped our friendly countries implement many international projects. I believe that Sochi is a diamond in the crown of Russian sports, and this diamond shines thanks to the people,» Matytsin said during a meeting with children on the Sirius federal territory dedicated to celebrating the tenth anniversary of the 2014 Olympics.
Sochi hosted the XXII Winter Olympic Games in February 2014.
