VLADIVOSTOK, February 8 The concert of singer Kristina Orbakaite in Vladivostok, scheduled for March, has been cancelled, said a representative of the Fesko Hall concert hall, where the performance was planned.< br />Earlier, the Municipal Control Center (MCC) of Vladivostok, in response to a call to cancel the concert, told Orbakaite that the viewer himself makes the choice whether to go to a performance in private institutions or not. On Wednesday, the MCU announced that the head of Vladivostok initiated and sent a letter to the organizers of concerts by artists Orbakaite and Diana Arbenina, which recommended canceling performances in the city. The basis was the appeal of the all-Russian public movement «Cultural Front of Russia». Earlier on Thursday, Fesco Hall said that there is no exact information yet whether the concert will be cancelled, but ticket sales have been suspended.
“The concert was cancelled,” said the interlocutor, without specifying the reasons.
The organizers of the performance have no comment.
The poster for Orbakaite’s performance is still up on the Fesco Hall website; there is no way to buy a ticket online.
