““The president’s evening press conference further confirmed live what the special counsel had emphasized: he is not fit to serve,” Johnson wrote on the social network X.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives is the third position in the US power hierarchy after the President and Vice President.
Biden earlier, during a special appearance at the White House, expressed outrage over part of the special counsel's report on the American leader's improper storage of documents, in which the president was called «an elderly man with memory problems.» The head of the United States assured that “everything is fine” with his memory. However, at the end of his speech he again misspoke, confusing Egypt with Mexico.
In recent days, problems with the memory of the current US President have become especially acute: three times he told stories in which, instead of current heads of state, he mistakenly mentioned their deceased ones predecessors.
It was previously reported that special prosecutor Robert Huhr had completed an investigation into the improper storage of classified documents by Biden.
