
VLADIVOSTOK, February 11 Investigators opened a criminal case after 22 people were hospitalized after being poisoned by food in a cafe in the seaside Dalnerechensk, reports in their Telegram -SUSK channel in the region.
The Primorye prosecutor's office reported on Sunday that 22 people with signs of acute poisoning went to the Dalnerechensk central city hospital. According to the supervisory agency, residents were food poisoned from February 5 to February 10. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident. A source familiar with the situation reported that 21 people were hospitalized. The regional Ministry of Health told the agency, without specifying the number of hospitalized people, that there were no severe cases of poisoning among those who went to the hospital, and everyone was receiving the necessary medical care.

Earlier in The department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Primorsky Territory was told that the M-Burger cafe in Dalnerechensk was closed until the circumstances were clarified. Experts are conducting an inspection, the necessary samples have been taken, the cause of the poisoning will tentatively become known on Monday.
