MOSCOW, February 11 Explosions were heard again in the Ukrainian city of Nikolaev against the background of an air raid, the Ukrainian agency UNIAN reported.
Earlier, the Ukrainian TV channel «Public» reported on explosions in the suburbs of Dnepropetrovsk, as well as in Nikolaev. The mayor of Nikolaev, Alexander Senkevich, reported that a “fire had started at one of the facilities” in the city.
“Repeated explosions are heard in Nikolaev,” the UNIAN agency reports in its Telegram channel.
According to the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the air raid alert sounds in the Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Kirovograd, and Cherkasy regions.
The Russian Armed Forces began striking the Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022 — two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to the Russian authorities, was behind the Ukrainian special services. Strikes are being carried out against energy, defense industry, military command and communications facilities throughout the country. Since then, air raid alerts have been announced every day in Ukrainian regions, sometimes throughout the country. At the same time, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian troops in battles with the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not attack residential buildings and social infrastructure.
