WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 Shooting at an evangelical church in a Texas city Lakewood was discovered by a woman who was killed and the injured child is in critical condition, county Police Chief Troy Finner said.
““A woman, 30-35 years old, entered the building on Sunday afternoon, she was armed with a rifle, and with her was a child of 4-5 years old,” Finner told reporters. The broadcast was carried out by American television channels.
Entering the church, the woman opened fire, Finner said, she was eliminated by law enforcement officers. «Unfortunately, a five-year-old child was shot and is in critical condition in the hospital,» Finner said.
The police chief added that a 57-year-old man was also wounded in the leg during the incident.
