YEKATERINBURG, February 13 A grenade wrapped in a rag was found near a city park in Surgut, the discovered ammunition was sent for examination, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug reported.
According to the department, on Tuesday morning the Surgut police duty station received a report that an object similar to a grenade was lying in the snow, wrapped in a rag.
«External service squads were immediately sent to the scene of the incident, which cordoned off the area, an investigative team, and employees of the National Guard. Currently, the discovered ammunition without a fuse was seized and sent for examination,» the agency's interlocutor said.
He noted that this fact is being checked.
