The central apparatus of the Investigative Committee took control of the case of the snow phallus fashioned by children in Altai
The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, became interested in the incident in the village of Staroaleiskoye, Tretyakovsky district, Altai Territory, where two children aged 14 and 16 were blinded a snow figure of anatomical shape.
As RIA Novosti reports, the Ministry of Internal Affairs became interested in the first incident after seeing how “a photo of a snow sculpture of a phallus against the background of a memorial of glory is circulating on the Internet.” The police quickly identified the teenagers who made the figure, interviewed them, and fined their parents. Then the case materials were transferred to the Investigative Committee, since “we are no longer talking about a child’s prank, but about the desecration of the memorial complex,” RIA noted.
The Central Office of the Investigative Committee took control of the progress of the procedural check, the head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the Altai SUSC Igor Kolesnichenko to report on the results of the inspection.
