MOSCOW, February 13 More than 2 million people submitted applications for remote electronic voting (DEG) two weeks in advance, the Ministry of Digital Development reported.

"In two weeks, 2 million people signed up to participate in remote electronic voting (DEG). Applications are still being accepted. They can be submitted on the public services portal until 23.59 Moscow time on March 11,” the message says.

The leaders in the number of applications submitted are the Moscow and Rostov regions, Chuvashia, Altai Territory, and Sverdlovsk Region. The top 10 also included Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Voronezh, Novosibirsk and Belgorod regions.

Users of «State Services» can find out information about their polling station through the voter's personal account. In addition, the “Mobile Voter” service is available on the portal, which will allow you to vote where it is convenient, and not at your place of registration.

The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.
Currently, 8 people are vying for the post of head of state. The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation has registered four presidential candidates — Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
