MOSCOW, February 13 Making decisions on the expropriation of someone else's property could become a serious shock to all the foundations of the world economy, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
First Deputy Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Gita Gopinath said that the West's decision to confiscate sovereign Russian assets should receive legal support to prevent possible risks in the future.
«We have repeatedly said that decisions to expropriate someone else's property will, in one way or another, have a very serious impact on the global economy, law, economic development prospects, and the general investment climate. This could be a serious shock to all the foundations of the world economy,» — Peskov told reporters.
