MOSCOW, February 8 Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked the Russian Academy of Sciences for its contribution to ensuring the defense capability and security of the Russian Federation.
““I would like to thank the representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, our scientists, research teams… for effectively resolving issues of the defense capability and security of our state,” Putin said on Thursday at the State Kremlin Palace at a gala evening on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.< br />The head of state also thanked academic scientists for their outstanding achievements in such promising areas as microelectronics, artificial intelligence, new materials, as well as in other important areas.
