MOSCOW, February 14 The countries of the collective West took away Bosnia and Herzegovina has sovereignty, turning the country into its colony, replacing the principles of the Dayton Agreements, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
«In essence, Bosnia and Herzegovina's sovereignty was taken away and this was done by those who vociferously advocate for it, citing the Dayton Agreements. The European state of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been turned into a colony of the collective West, which continues its experiments on its peoples, who, even without those who suffered from NATO aggression in 1995,” she said at a briefing.
According to Zakharova, Russia, as one of the guarantors of the general framework Dayton Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina of 1995 and a member of the steering committee for its implementation, “is seriously concerned about the illegal actions of Western participants in multilateral efforts for post-conflict resolution in Bosnia and Herzegovina.»
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry drew attention to the fact that the West is trying to replace the fundamental principles of the peace treaty, following the best traditions of its neocolonial policy. “Sovereign Bosnia and Herzegovina is openly dictated by priorities in the form of uncontested adherence to the course of the EU, NATO, and rejection of ties with third countries,” she noted.
The goal of the colonial policy of the West is to turn Bosnia and Herzegovina into a raw material and political appendage of the Western bloc, Zakharova summed up.
