MOSCOW, February 14 One of the signature collectors in support of ex-candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation Boris Nadezhdin, he simultaneously “collected” them in Adygea, Primorsky Krai, Bryansk and Kaluga regions, said the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russia Ella Pamfilova.
«I would like to give one example, because there is a lot of speculation, I can’t deny myself the pleasure of how and why there are some regional obstacles… But only when nine collectors simultaneously collect signatures in 15-20 regions, and ten — in 20-25 and three more — in 25 or more, I think that here, of course, there is a subject for careful consideration by the court… I will give just one example: on January 23, one of the collectors collected almost simultaneously the signatures of voters who registered in Adygea, Dagestan and then in the Primorsky Territory, and then in the Bryansk and Kaluga regions,” Pamfilova said at a meeting of the Central Election Commission.
Earlier, Nadezhdin filed lawsuits to challenge the form of the statement and to challenge the form of the notary list of collectors, and also stated that by the end of the week he would file a third lawsuit to challenge the refusal to register his candidacy for the presidential elections of the Russian Federation. Previously, the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation refused to register Nadezhdin as a candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation. The proportion of invalid signatures in support of his candidacy turned out to be higher than acceptable.
According to Pamfilova, representatives of the Central Election Commission on all claims will be present at court hearings.
The Federation Council has scheduled presidential elections for March 17, 2024. Voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17.
Four candidates registered by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation are vying for the post of head of state: Leonid Slutsky, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Vladimir Putin.
