Two children who were taken for treatment to Moscow from Belgorod, they remain in a stable and serious condition. This was reported by the director of the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital, Elena Petryaykina.
According to her, the children are provided with all the necessary assistance.
«One child has already been operated on. The first stage of the operation has been performed on him — reconstructive surgery has been performed on the lower limb,» she said.
After the operation, the child did not need to be in intensive care; he was transferred to the traumatology and orthopedics department. He is there with his mother.
The second child is still in intensive care unit, he is conscious. They plan to undergo a second operation.
