MOSCOW, February 16 Fatah delegation led with member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Azzam al-Ahmed will arrive at the inter-Palestinian meeting in Moscow on February 28, Palestinian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Abdelhafiz Nofal told reporters.
“They (members of the delegation — ed.) arrive on February 28, leave on March 2,” said the Palestinian ambassador.
The diplomat added that the Fatah delegation will be headed by Azzam al-Ahmed.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow expects to hold an inter-Palestinian meeting in the foreseeable future with the participation of all leading factions to overcome the internal split. Members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) previously confirmed in a conversation that they had received invitations to take part in an inter-Palestinian meeting in the Russian capital at the end of February.
