BUENOS AIRES, 17 Feb. Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa showed interest in many joint projects with Russia, he instructed the head of the Foreign Ministry to work out specific details of interaction, Russian Ambassador Vladimir Sprinchan said following a meeting with the head of state.
“I informed the head of Ecuador in detail about the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in a wide variety of areas of cooperation. He showed interest in almost all projects — both previously frozen and promising ones,” Sprinchan said.
«The Minister of Foreign Affairs (Gabriele Sommerfeld), who will become the future co-chair of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Ecuador, has been tasked with working out specific details of all possible areas and projects of interaction between the two countries,» the ambassador said.
He added that “the meeting ended on a positive note with a statement of the desire of both countries to resolve the problems that concern the population of the two countries.”
