The politician complained that the lack of financial assistance from the West in the past few months has hit Ukraine’s budget and its ability to carry out military planning.
Earlier, the US Senate supported a bill to allocate $95 billion in aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan without measures to protect the American border. Despite the support of the project by senators, it will have to be considered by the House of Representatives, where the Republican opposition is strong, opposing the allocation of new funds to Kyiv. Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson noted that the House would not be able to be forced to pass a bill on assistance to Ukraine.
