TYUMEN, February 18, Adela Ziatdinova. Skier Evgenia Krupitskaya said , that I wanted to win the 50 km race in the classical style at the Spartakiad, because I was tired of taking fourth, fifth and sixth places in competitions.
The race took place in Tyumen. Krupitskaya became the winner of the 50 km race, covering the distance in 2 hours 35 minutes 49.4 seconds. These competitions were the last in the cross-country skiing program at the Spartakiad.
“»True, today I felt very good. I felt strong and, in principle, I was ahead for almost the entire last ten. I asked the girls to help, because I didn’t feel confident in my abilities in the finishing dash. I didn’t know what «The girls' well-being, honestly, there were fears that they would just pinch me off and in the end would win at the finish line. I was very happy when the three of us drove off, exhaled and thought, God, I won't be fourth today,» Krupitskaya told reporters.

While I don’t feel tired, the whole race was really a blast. The pace that I asked, it really wasn’t very comfortable for the girls. I felt it at the end of the last five precisely by the breathing from behind, that the girls were really having a hard time, they were enduring. And there was already hope for gold,” added Krupitskaya.
Spartakiad will end on February 18. Competitions under the program of the 2026 Olympic Games are being hosted by the Krasnodar Territory, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen Regions and Krasnoyarsk Territory.
