MOSCOW, February 19 Russian striker New York Rangers «Artemi Panarin has been named the first game-day star in the National Hockey League (NHL).
On Sunday, Panarin gave two assists and scored a goal in overtime in the regular season match against the New York Islanders (6:5 OT). The game took place outdoors at MetLife Stadium in the presence of 79,600 spectators.
The second star of the day was Swedish Los Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe, who scored a double in the match with the Pittsburgh Penguins (2:1). The winning goal was scored while playing in the minority.
The third star was the Canadian forward of the Colorado Avalanche, Nathan MacKinnon, who recorded a goal and an assist in the match with the Arizona Coyotes (4:3).
